Raising Funds for The King’s Trust: My Journey as a Young Ambassador Featured on Omaze

Being the Face of Change: My Journey with Omaze and The King's Trust

When I was asked to be one of the faces of the Omaze Million Pound House Draw in support of The King's Trust, I never imagined the depth of impact this campaign would have—not only on the lives of young people across the UK, but on my own journey too. As a Young Ambassador for The King’s Trust, it’s been an honour to help raise an incredible £4.1 million through this campaign. That money isn’t just a figure; it represents real, tangible change for young people who are facing some of the toughest challenges life can throw at them.

The Omaze Million Pound House Draw isn’t just about giving someone the keys to a stunning coastal home. It’s about unlocking potential, hope, and opportunity for thousands of young people who need a hand to get back on track. The funds raised through the partnership with Omaze go directly to supporting the life-changing programmes The King’s Trust runs—programmes that help young individuals gain confidence, find work, and build a future they never thought possible.

I know how life-changing that support can be—because I’ve lived it. My own story is one of resilience, recovery, and rebuilding. With the help of The King's Trust, I found the confidence to pursue a brighter future despite the challenges I faced. Standing in front of the cameras, sharing my story, and representing so many others like me was emotional and empowering. It reminded me how far I’ve come, and why the work The Trust does is so vital.

Being part of this campaign wasn’t just about being seen—it was about being heard, and helping others be heard too. I'm incredibly proud to have played a role in a project that didn’t just change the life of one lucky winner, but is transforming the futures of so many young people who deserve a second chance. To anyone who supported the campaign: thank you. You’ve helped write a new chapter for thousands of young lives, mine included.
